SMKA Durian Guling Shines at Marang District English Debate Competition
Marang, Terengganu – The students of SMKA Durian Guling have once again proven their excellence by emerging victorious at the Marang District English Debate Competition held on July 1, 2024, at SMA Marang. The event saw participation from various schools in the district, showcasing the debating prowess of young minds.
The competition, guided by esteemed teachers Latifah Aida Bt Abdul Wahid and Julia Shireen@Noorsyahida Bt Azmi, witnessed fierce competition and high-level debates on pressing issues. Under their expert mentorship, the team from SMKA Durian Guling demonstrated exceptional skill and critical thinking, securing the title of District Champion of Marang.
A standout performance was delivered by Nisreen Umaiza Bt Nizam, who was awarded the Best Debater title. Her eloquence, clarity of thought, and persuasive arguments set her apart from her peers, earning her this prestigious recognition.
